New UNS Foresta Integrated Paludarium 35E
We are pleased to introduce our newest and most technologically advanced product, the Foresta Integrated Paludarium. This unique type of tank allows for the simulation of a comprehensive ecosystem, which not only enhances the visual appeal but also promotes a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world. It combines elements of both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, providing hobbyists with the ability to create a more realistic and natural environment by incorporating a diverse range of plant life in a single tank.
The latest iteration of the E line, the Foresta, represents a significant innovation over its predecessors through the integration of a built-in filtration system. It features a cascading waterfall wall, as well as an Ultum Nature Systems Atomizer for added cooling mist and humidity to provide ideal conditions for tropical plants.
Each Foresta paludarium includes the Paludarium, nano foam stabilizing mat, UNS atomizer mist maker set, an atomizer stand, fully submersible water pump, outflow pipe, bio sponge media, Foresta Mat plant pads, Foresta Line plant thread, and a glass chamber lid.
The included UNS Atomizer Mist Maker Set along with the all-new holder is a crucial aspect in the creation of an optimal environment for tropical plants within the Foresta Paludarium. It’s engineered to introduce a continuous fog effect, which is vital in elevating the humidity levels within the tank. The trickling water flowing down the back wall of the enclosure draws air and the mist from the atomizer downwards, creating a beautiful cascade of mist that hugs the waterfall wall. Tropical plants often necessitate high humidity levels for optimal growth and the atomizer ensures that this requirement is met.
Moreover, the UNS Atomizer contributes to the realism of the environment by mimicking the misty conditions found in the natural habitats of tropical plants. The device can also be adjusted to accommodate the specific needs of the plants, thus enabling hobbyists to personalize the environment to suit the requirements of their plants.
Water is passed through three chambers located at the back of the tank, before being reintroduced into the tank via a cascading waterfall wall. These chambers allow for adequate mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration media to be used for the system. Additionally, the Foresta includes absorbent sponge pads that can wick up water from the back wall, providing a suitable environment for mosses and plants attached to them using the Foresta line moss thread included in the package. Two vents located above the water outlets direct mist downward to the plants, creating an ideal cool and humid environment that is well-suited for tropical terrestrial plants. The Foresta Paludarium tank will allow hobbyists to easily integrate aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems to create a unique and captivating aquascaping experience.
The Foresta Paludarium boasts a visually striking design, characterized by its sleek lines, crystal clear glass, and tasteful combination of gloss and matte black tones. As the latest iteration of the paludariums offered by Ultum Nature Systems, it represents the perfect product for individuals seeking to expand their aquascaping horizons, whether for the first time or as a seasoned hobbyist.
It is a specialized type of aquarium that integrates elements from both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, allowing hobbyists to explore and appreciate the diversity of plant life in a single tank. Unlike traditional aquariums, which are limited to aquatic life, or terrariums, which are restricted to terrestrial life, a paludarium provides a more comprehensive and realistic simulation of natural habitats.
One of the key advantages of a paludarium is the ability to create a more natural and visually appealing environment. By incorporating a diverse range of plant life, hobbyists can simulate an ecosystem with a plethora of different plant types grown both emersed and submerged. Many aquatic and terrestrial plants have symbiotic relationships and can benefit each other’s growth and survival. For example, terrestrial plants can provide shade and shelter for aquatic life, while aquatic plants can help to oxygenate the water and remove waste products. This leads to a healthier and more balanced ecosystem within the tank. A mix of flora will only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the tank.
