CONCEPT 03
MACRO ALGAE SALTWATER
Multiple pieces of Icelandic lava stone were joined together to create a crescent-shaped structure to capture the essence of a tidepool. The mixture of various macroalgae and anemones were placed throughout the structure, giving off a very natural feeling that is faithful to the views often seen in tidepools along the volcanic coastlines worldwide. Other various forms of ocean life such as a sea fan, cluster duster worms, and sponges were also included to complete a comprehensive tidepool scenery.

Dual All-In-One Aquariums by Ultum Nature Systems feature everything that is loved about our standard rimless aquariums: 45° precision cut mitered edges, high-grade unobtrusive silicone for security and quality viewing plus low iron and 91% Diamant glass.
Featuring a sleek, innovative built-in filter eliminating the need for an additional piece of aquarium equipment. The triple filtration chamber includes a coarse aquarium sponge, quality bio-media and a reliable water pump to provide consistent flow to the entire system.
The same technology behind all Ultum Nature Systems Rimless Aquariums has been used to create the 45° mitered edges along with beveling for a cleaner look.
Cut out windows allow the user to easily gauge built-in chamber water level.
A built in water level adjustment baffle allows the user to raise or lower the height of the water level in the first chamber for surface skimming or creating the option for wet dry filtration when used with the Media Tower.

Mech Media
A thick and high-quality reusable black sponge is placed here to prevent detritus such as fish waste and plant matter from building up within the other filtration chambers and importantly the power head water pump. Simple to slide and remove, this coarse sponge makes maintenance quick and easy. Care should be taken to clean the sponge on a regular basis to avoid overflow spills to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently.
Intake Guard
A custom designed guard to prevent live stock harm and further prevent detritus from entering the filtration chamber.

A single porous sponge that is easy to maintain and will prevent detritus build in the rest of the Dual All-In-One Aquarium filter chambers. Be sure to rinse out and clean regularly to prevent possible clogging.

Ultum Nature Systems Bio Bricks were newly developed for the Dual All-In-One aquariums. It is a porous ceramic bio media that is easily stackable. This is essential for the livelihood of beneficial bacteria that maintains and contributes largely to a balanced and healthy underwater eco-system. Bio Bricks will also sit properly in the UNS Media Tower for further biological media expansion.
Extra room in this chamber is allotted for additional filter media to be added or for personal customization if desired. This media does not require regular maintenance compared to the coarse sponge but will eventually require a light rinse as detritus builds. In addition, every Dual All-In-One aquarium will be provided with a Bio Media Riser to easier access to the Bio Bricks that are stacked atop.
Bio Block
A uniquely-shaped and highly porous filtration media designed to be stackable. It has angular cutouts for efficient water flow. Two Bio Blocks will fit the Media Tower trays perfectly side by side.

Refugium
A designated housing that converts the rear chamber of the Ultum Nature Systems Dual All-In-One Aquarium into a refugium allowing for the cultivation of Chaetomorpha and other macro algaes as an efficient form of natural nutrient export. Improve filtration and increase biodiversity in the overall system: Copepods, Amphipods, and other small organisms are given space to flourish in the protected, safe habitat. The device is held securely by an adjustable clamp and features innovative design that allows for the installation of an LED light to support healthy growth. The allotted space is opaque and prevents overspill of light into the main aquarium.

Skimmer
An essential device for improved filtration in a salt water reef aquarium. The Ultum Nature Systems Protein Skimmer reduces organic impurities by injecting bubbles into the water to assist in removing proteins and amino acids from decomposing waste. Outflow
The final chamber houses the water pump, which acts as the engine of the aquarium by providing the essential flow of clean water back into the tank. The flow is adjustable on the pump depending on user preference with the filter tubing already pre-installed. The fully submersible pump that should not be allowed to run dry, and should be unplugged before filling the aquarium or during maintenance.
